A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Gazprom Armenia and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia
On May 16, a working meeting was held with the Deputy General Director-Chief Engineer of CJSC Gazprom Armenia Artashes Gabrielyan and the Acting rector of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia Manuk Barseghyan.
A. Gabrielyan and M. Barseghyan discussed issues related to cooperation in the development of scientific, experimental, innovative and educational programs, advanced professional training for the preparation of personnel for the gas system, organization of training and qualification improvement courses, exchange of experience.
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Gazprom Armenia CJSC and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.
As the Deputy General Director-Chief Engineer of Gazprom Armenia noted, the cooperation between the Company and the University has a long history, the University trains qualified personnel, including for the Gazprom Armenia.
“The purpose of our meeting today is to give additional impetus to our cooperation. It is very important to use our joint potential in terms of training future specialists for the gas system, increasing interest in relevant professions, since good, qualified personnel are really needed today. I hope that our new joint projects and events will contribute to the increase of students' interest in the professions of the gas and energy sector, will help them to orient themselves in choosing their profession", said A. Gabrielyan.
As part of the visit to the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, the Deputy General Director-Chief Engineer of CJSC Gazprom Armenia also visited the laboratories of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation, where students take practical classes, got acquainted with the technical equipment of the laboratories, and the organization of the educational process.
