More than 220 specialists of Gazprom Armenia trained at the Study — Technical Center in 2021
In 2021, 224 specialists were trained at the Study —Technical Center (STC) of the Engineering Center branch company of CJSC Gazprom Armenia — of which 186 from branches and 38 from subsidiaries, as well as employees of other organizations — gas consumers (31 people). Five people have received training on individual programs. 43 employees of the Engineering Center branch, 16 drivers of vehicles equipped with gas appliance, 2 operators — welders of polyethylene pipes from other branches also passed regular knowledge test.During the training, special attention was paid to the rules for the safe operation of gas facilities, labor protection, industrial and fire safety requirements and protection of the environment.
Practical classes were held at the Study —Technical Center and at the facilities of Gazprom Armenia organizations.
Trainings were held for the following specialists: line engineering and technical workers for maintenance of gas distribution and gas transmission systems, maintenance and operation of underground gas storage facilities (UGSF), controllers of gas facilities, implementing account for gas consumption, specialists responsible for gas facilities of enterprises and organizations, operators — welders of polyethylene pipes, specialists in the preparation of design estimates for gas supply systems, emergency and dispatch service staff.
At the end of the training, examinations and knowledge tests were conducted, during which employees, having shown insufficient knowledge, were given opportunity to retake them within a month.
The training room of the Study —Technical Center is equipped with computers, appropriate devices for displaying individual elements of the gas supply system, safety-related equipment and materials (posters), a video projector, technical and normative literature, as well as other equipment and demonstration materials.
In November 2021, meetings with students from a number of Armenian universities were held at the Study —Technical Center of the Engineering Center branch for the purpose of staffing and young people recruitment.
