New tariffs set by PSRC for natural gas supplied to consumers

On 01 March 2022, the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia considered issues related to setting tariffs for natural gas supplied to consumers by Gazprom Armenia.

PSRC made a decision to set the following tariffs:

1) tariff for natural gas supplied to socially disadvantaged families — consumers will make 100,000 AMD/thousand cub. m (including VAT) for a volume of up to 600 cub. m per year;

2) tariff for natural gas supplied to the population (with the exception of socially disadvantaged consumers — for a volume of up to 600 cubic meters per year) will make 143,700 AMD/thousand cub.m (including VAT);

3) for greenhouses operating in the field of agriculture for the period from November 1 to March 31 inclusive, the tariff for natural gas will make an amount in AMD equivalent to 233.9 USD (including VAT) per thousand cub. m;

4) for persons engaged in activities in the field of agriculture (processing and production of canned food, beverages and dairy products), the tariff for natural gas will make an amount in AMD equivalent to USD 233.9 (including VAT) per thousand cub. m;

5) for other consumers (including thermal power plants) not provided for in the above-mentioned clauses 1 — 4, the tariff will make 143,700 AMD (including VAT) per thousand cub. m with a monthly consumption of up to 10 thousand cub. m and with a monthly consumption over 10 thousand cub. m — an amount in AMD, equivalent to 265.81 USD (including VAT) per thousand cub. m. 

The fixed tariffs will come into force on 01 April 2022.
