Transgaz LLC conducted comprehensive emergency response trainings
Comprehensive emergency response trainings were conducted at gas transmission system facilities of all 5 linear-operational branches (LOB) of Transgaz LLC (the subsidiary of CJSC Gazprom Armenia) on March 11.During the training, actions were processed for accident management on the linear part of the main gas transmission pipeline, the occurrence of which is possible in spring flood conditions.
According to the scenario of the training on «Overflow of the coast by mudflows at the air crossing of the main gas transmission pipeline» the coast at the air crossing of one of the sections of the Kazakh-Yerevan main gas transmission pipeline was washed out by mudflows.
An emergency team, equipped with relevant equipment, fixtures, materials and personal protection equipment, was sent to localize and eliminate the consequences of the accident.
Within the frame of the recovery work, the emergency team of the Dilijan LOB performed all the necessary actions in compliance with safety requirements.
After the completion of the training in the Dilijan LOB, a general discussion took place, during which the actions of each member of the emergency team were considered and the results of the training sessions were summarized.
