Gazprom Armenia is implementing a digitalization project of technological schemes and route maps of the gas distribution network
Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia Ashot Hakobyan held a meeting during which issues related to the operation of distribution network facilities, gasification and in-house maintenance of gas consumption systems and collection of payments for natural gas supplied to consumers were discussed.The Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia was briefed on the progress of the instruction implementation to the Abovyan Gasification and Gas Supply Branch (GGB) on drawing up digital technological schemes and route maps of the gas distribution network.
«We are conducting negotiations with a number of organizations that develop relevant software, and we have been acquainted with online software versions. At present, we are at the stage of choosing the best option and after receiving the final results, we will start the process of introducing the digital system,» Gabrielyan noted.
In terms of the instruction implementation to improve the quality of instrumental diagnostics of the technical condition of underground gas pipelines, it was noted that the Department for Operation and Maintenance of Gas Distribution Networks and In-house Gas Consumption Systems, together with the Engineering Center Branch, organized advanced training courses to improve the knowledge of the GGB staff performing the instrumental inspection of the underground gas pipelines. 
The Deputy General Director-Chief Engineer noted that more than 30 employees from GG branches took part in the courses, and after the completion of the theoretical part, practical training was organized in the service area of the Abovyan GGB under the supervision of diagnostics specialists of the Engineering Center Branch.
