A.Hakobyan: Good knowledge and quality education are the key to success in life, the imperative of the time
Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia Ashot Hakobyan participated in the festive event on the occasion of the new academic year and the opening of the first Russian class at Educational — Sport Complex (ESC) School. Representatives of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Armenia and «House of Moscow” cultural and business center in Yerevan were also among the guests.
Ashot Hakobyan congratulated the ESC staff, pupils of the school and first-graders on the beginning of the school year.
“Today we celebrate another festive and significant event — the start of a new academic year, an event that has already become a good tradition for us. I would like to congratulate especially our first graders. You are taking your first steps at school, where you will discover a new and boundless world — the world of knowledge. Dear children, study exceptionally well, get new knowledge, and learn new things! We have created all the conditions at our school for your studies to be not only useful, but also interesting and entertaining,” said the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of Gazprom Armenia.
Ashot Hakobyan also mentioned that the day was significant for another important occasion — the first Russian class opens at the ESK School.
«This is another significant step in strengthening and developing Russian-Armenian relations in the field of education. It is necessary to emphasize that thanks to the support of PJSC Gazprom, the Educational — Sport Complex was opened in Yerevan several years ago, which is an important social and educational project of Gazprom and a contribution to the education of future generations. Good knowledge and quality education are the key to success in life and, without a doubt, the imperative of the time. In this regard, ESC School provides all the opportunities at the highest level, using the most modern methods of teaching and learning. We also have excellent conditions for the sports, creative and intellectual development of our pupils, and the schoolchildren of the Russian class will feel very good and comfortable in our school, which, I hope, will become their home,» said Ashot Hakobyan.
The representative of the Embassy of the Russian Federation noted in her congratulatory speech that the opening of the Russian class at ESC School of Gazprom Armenia is really a big step both for the complex itself and for strengthening Russian-Armenian humanitarian ties in general. It was noted that the ESC staff makes great efforts to improve and develop the school, raise an educated generation, which deserves the highest appreciation.
During the festive event, the schoolchildren of the ESC School showed a colorful performance.
At the end of the event, the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia also visited the school library together with the guests, where the «Moscow Corner» was opened as part of the events dedicated to the 876th anniversary of the Russian capital, with the support of the «House of Moscow» center.
