Specialists of the Construction Control Service have undergone advanced training courses at Training and Production Center of Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol LLC

November 24, 2022 16:54On November 21, the Deputy General Director — Chief Engineer of Gazprom Armenia Ashot Hakobyan held a meeting with the participation of a group of specialists of the Construction Control Service of the Engineering Center Branch, who underwent advanced training courses at the Training and Production Center of Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol LLC.

The Director of the Engineering Center Branch Khachik Tadevosyan and the Head of the Construction Control Service Pargev Petrosyan also participated in the meeting.

The professional courses were held from October 3 to 28 within the framework of the educational program «Construction control over the quality of construction, reconstruction and major repair works of PJSC Gazprom facilities». The specialists of the Engineering Center Branch have recorded high results at attestation held after the end of the courses.

As the Deputy General Director — Chief Engineer of Gazprom Armenia noted, the improvement of qualification is very important for the specialists of the Construction Control Service, but the practical application of the acquired knowledge is equally important.

«A lot of work is expected in the framework of our production programs in the next five years. The volume of work for the next year is comparable to the volume of the current year. However, already in 2024, the planned works in the facilities of the gas transmission and distribution systems will be significantly large-scale and multi-profile, including a set of measures for the new project of the Abovyan underground gas storage station reconstruction. From that point of view the acquisition of new knowledge, the improvement of qualifications in the entire range of our production activities is extremely important for the specialists of the Construction Control Service,» Ashot Hakobyan said.

Deputy General Director — Chief Engineer of Gazprom Armenia expressed his satisfaction with the work of specialists of the Construction Control Service of the Engineering Center Branch and noted that the Company's management will make every effort to increase their professional potential.

Specialists of the Construction Control Service periodically undergo advanced training courses and professional educational programs in order to increase the level of control over the implementation of construction, installation and repair works at the facilities of the gas transmission and distribution systems of Gazprom Armenia, as well as to ensure their further safe and uninterrupted operation.
