CJSC «Gazprom Armenia» awarded with a diploma signed by the President of the Russian Federation and with a commemorative medal of the «Victory» Organizing Committee
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kopirkin on behalf of the «Victory» Organizing Committee handed over a commemorative medal “75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945” and a diploma signed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia Hrant Tadevosyan during the solemn celebration held on March 3 at Education — sport complex of CJSC Gazprom Armenia.
Gazprom Armenia has received the high award for its active participation in the patriotic education of citizens and in solving the social and economic problems of the veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.
Congratulating the employees of the Company Ambassador Kopirkin emphasized that the award was symbolic since Gazprom Armenia was an important and key partner in holding various social and cultural events organized under the auspices of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Armenia. “Last year, which was a jubilee, Gazprom Armenia financed a program to provide financial support to all veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. It was a very significant action that received a really good response. And this award is the result of that significant work. This is an important work, since it is not only about improving the image of the company itself but is also a real contribution in terms of social development, helping people who live here”, particularly noted S. Kopirkin.
Expressing gratitude to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation for the high assessment the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of Gazprom Armenia Hrant Tadevosyan mentioned that the company was ready to continue productive cooperation within the framework of projects implemented under the auspices of the Embassy of Russia in Armenia.
The directions of CJSC Gazprom Armenia activity, large-scale investment projects implemented by the company, financial and economic indicators, as well as a presentation on the work of the Educational-sport complex were presented to the Ambassador of Russia.
During the event H. Tadevosyan awarded a number of employees of CJSC Gazprom Armenia with letters of gratitude from the Chairman of the Management Committee of PJSC Gazprom A. Miller for the great personal contribution to the development of the gas industry and long-term conscientious work.
When the event was over, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation and the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia visited the school and kindergarten of the Educational-sport complex. Their capabilities and technical equipment, as well as the conditions of the skating rink, swimming pools and gyms operating in the complex were presented to the Ambassador. A children's performance was specially organized for the guests with participation of the pupils of the Educational —sport complex.
Expressing gratitude to the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia for the organized celebration the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation noted: “It was very interesting to get acquainted with the activities of Gazprom Armenia and the work of the Educational — sport complex. This is my first visit and it is very important to see everything with own eyes".
