Comprehensive Emergency Response Drill at the Abovyan Line Operation Division of Transgaz LLC (photo, video)

March 24, 2025 17:00On March 20, a comprehensive emergency response drill was conducted at the Abovyan Line Operation Branch (LOB) of Transgaz LLC (a subsidiary of Gazprom Armenia CJSC), in connection with the upcoming 2025 spring flood season.

The drill focused on practicing response actions to eliminate potential emergencies along the linear section of main gas pipelines.

According to the drill scenario, the support structure of an aerial crossing of the Yerevan-Armavir DN500 main gas pipeline over the Hrazdan River was washed out at kilometer mark 14.8 (as per the initial input of the Emergency Response Plan).

The comprehensive emergency drill involved three emergency crews from the Abovyan LOB, comprising 25 personnel and 8 units of special-purpose machinery.
