This contest brought together 15 highly skilled welders representing various branches of the gasification and gas supply (BGG) from “Transgaz” LLC, as well as the Syunik, Martuni, Kotayk, Shirak, Lori, Artashat, Abovyan, and Armavir regional divisions (BGG).

The classes, which are organized and conducted on a regular basis by the Educational and Technical Center, allow gas industry specialists to acquire practical skills and experience, know the safety rules in the gas industry, the technical operation of gas supply system facilities, the requirements for labor protection and fire safety, and environmental protection.

The campaign was held in honor of Book Giving Day, celebrated in Armenia on February 19, the birthday of the great Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan.

Separately, issues related to the joint work of the BGG and AEG Service LLC, preventive measures aimed at preventing violations in gas consumption systems and requirements for the safe use of natural gas in everyday life were considered.

For three tournament days, athletes who arrived in Armenia from all over the world competed for the title of the best under the roof of ESC. The pupils of the ESC also followed the matches of hockey teams, expanding their knowledge about this spectacular sport.

Following the results of production and operational performance in 2024, the work of several directors of the gasification and gas supply branches (BGG) of Gazprom Armenia CJSC has been highly commended and formally recognized by Mr. A.R. Akopyan, the Chairman of the Management Committee-General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia.
