An Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on the conditions for the operation of the Gazprom Armenia Educational and Sports Complex was signed.

December 26, 2024 09:04The Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia met for its 23rd regular session in Moscow, co-chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.

During the meeting, an Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on the conditions for the operation of the Gazprom Armenia Educational and Sports Complex was signed.

Within the framework of the Agreement, Gazprom Armenia Educational and Sports Complex will carry out an educational activities according to Educational programs of primary general, basic general and secondary general education in Armenian language, in accordance with State Education Standards of the Republic of Armenia, with compulsory teaching of the Russian.

In addition, Gazprom Armenia Educational and Sports Complex will carry out an educational activity according to Educational programs of primary general, basic general and secondary general education, in accordance with Federal State Education Standards of the Russian Federation and the corresponding Federal Basic general Education Programs in Russian, with compulsory teaching of Armenian.

The process of authorization of activities of an Educational Institution will be carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, meanwhile the State accreditation of educational activities of the Institution — in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The Agreement will ensure the possibility of receiving education according to Russian standards in the Educational and Sports Complex, which includes a 700-student School built in Yerevan as part of the Gazprom for Children Social Program.
