In the center of attention is comprehensive measures as part of the preparation for the upcoming heating season

October 25, 2024 16:05During the on-site meetings in the Sevan and Kotayk Gasification and Gas supply Branches (GGB), the most pressing issues and tasks related to the current activities of the GGB were discussed. The progress of implementation of comprehensive measures and work in preparation for the upcoming heating season was reviewed.

Within the framework of the meeting the main results of the production and economic activities of the GGB as well as the information regarding the readiness of gas distribution system facilities to provide the necessary gas supply regimes — autumn and winter period of 2024 — 2025 was presented to Mr. Ashot Hakobyan, the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of Gazprom Armenia.

In his speech the Chairman mentioned that along with the technical specifics of work, during this period, it is necessary to focus on issues of safe gas supply.

“Safe gas supplies are our priority! The branches of Gazprom Armenia CJSC together with the AEG Service are actively working within the framework of the program, which we conventionally call “autumn-winter” and the main result of this work should be a significant reduction in incidents related to violations of safety requirements on the part of gas consumers. Once again I want to emphasize that the most important components in ensuring safe gas supply are preventive measures, aimed at preventing violations in gas consumption systems and requirements for the safe use of natural gas in everyday life and consistent work with gas consumers”, — said the Chairman.

In this context, Mr. Hakobyan informed that 2025 will be declared as a Year of Safe Gas Supply at Gazprom Armenia CJSC.
