Ashot Hakobyan held retreat meetings at Syunik and Vayots Dzor Gasification and Gas Supply Branches

September 3, 2024 16:24Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of Gazprom Armenia Ashot Hakobyan held retreat meetings at Syunik and Vayots Dzor Gasification and Gas Supply Branches (GGB).

The results of the production and economic activities of the GGB were presented and current issues related to the work of the Branches were discussed.

At the meeting in Syunik GGB, it was noted that the Branch served about 713.6 km of underground and above-ground gas pipelines of the gas distribution network and 203 units of gas regulatory points. The number of GGB gas consumers among the population is 26,795. Instrumental diagnostics of the technical condition of underground gas pipelines was carried out in accordance with the approved schedule, and in 2021- 2023 more than 85 km of underground gas pipelines were inspected.

The total length of the gas distribution network pipelines served by Vayots Dzor Branch is about 322 km, the number of gas regulatory points is 168 units. The number of GGB gas consumers among the population is 8960. The works of the operation and maintenance of the gas distribution network, as well as the instrumental examination of the technical condition of the underground gas pipelines are carried out according to the approved schedule.

During the meetings, the process of creating the technological schemes of the gas distribution network served by the Syunik and Vayots Dzor gas stations was also presented.

Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of Gazprom Armenia noted that digitalization of work processes will become an effective tool for specialists engaged in the operation and maintenance of gas pipelines.

Ashot Hakobyan expressed his satisfaction with the activity of the two GG Branches. At the same time, it was noted that production programs for the current year should be implemented and completed in full and within the scheduled time.

«The autumn-winter period is approaching and the gas distribution system should be ready to ensure the necessary gas supply regimes,» said the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director.

In this context, the importance of ensuring safe gas supply and the most consistent and efficient joint work of GGB and AEG Service LLC was emphasized.

«The results of that work are visible; we have quite positive dynamics in terms of the reduction of cases caused by violation of safety requirements. At the same time, our main slogan from now on should be: „No more incidents in the gas consumption systems of customers“, and we should strictly follow this principle in our work,» noted Ashot Hakobyan.
