5 Emergency Dispatcher Services operate in Shirak Gas Supply and Gasification Branch
36,370 calls were registered in 52 Emergency dispatcher services 1–04 operating around the clock in the structure of Gasification and Gas Supply Branches of Gazprom Armenia CJSC in the period from January 1 to June 1 of the current year.
8,559 out of the registered calls were related to internal gas pipelines and the equipment located on them and 26,746 — to domestic gas consumption systems.
502 calls related to the external gas pipelines of the gas distribution system and the equipment located on them, 563 — to problems related to gas regulating points and individual pressure regulators.
Most of the calls concerning domestic gas systems related to leaks from gas fittings, valves and emergency shut-off valves located in the system.
There are 5 Emergency dispatcher services in the Shirak Gasification and Gas Supply Branch, namely in Gyumri, Artik, Maralik cities and Akhuryan, Amasia settlements.
According to the Head of the Emergency dispatcher service of the Shirak GGB Aram Minasyan — in general, the Branch in Shirak region has got about 60,000 resident-consumers, of which more than 35,000 are in Gyumri.
«In each 1–04 service of the Shirak GGB, an emergency brigade is on round-the-clock operational duty. Regarding the city of Gyumri, the statistics show that 350 to 450 phone calls are registered in the 1–04 service on average per month, the emergency teams make 10 to 15 visits by calls a day,» mentions A. Minasyan.
