One of the priorities of Gazprom Armenia is ensuring reliable and safe gas supply to gas consumers. 1–04 Emergency dispatch services operate around the clock within the Company's gas supply and gasification branches (GGB), whose functions are not limited to registering and responding to calls related not only to domestic gas consumption, but also to the entire gas distribution network. At any time of the day, on holidays, weekends and working days, Emergency service specialists are ready to promptly reach the place of call, eliminate or prevent emergencies.The Emergency dispatch service of the Armavir GGB of Gazprom Armenia operates in Ejmiatsin, Armavir cities and Baghramyan community. In Metsamor there is also a base station service 1–04 of the Armavir territorial section (TS).
According to the Head of the Emergency dispatch and Emergency recovery service of the Armavir GGB Artyom Gulnazaryan, 15 settlements of the Armavir region, including Janfida and Margara distant villages, are in the area of responsibility of the Metsamor base station.

«We have more than 7,300 resident-consumers, many public facilities and organizations of various significance. The base station also receives calls related to the gas distribution system facilities. The work of the Emergency dispatch service of the Metsamor base station is doubly responsible, since the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, which is also a consumer of natural gas, is located here,» Gulnazaryan notes.
An emergency team is on operational round-the-clock duty every day in Metsamor, which is equipped with all the necessary technical resources, including electronic gas leak detectors.
According to operational data, in the period from January 1 to June 1 of this year, the emergency teams of the Metsamor base station made 597 call visits and about 100 phone calls are registered in the 1–04 Emergency service per month.
The Head of the Emergency dispatch and Emergency recovery service of the Armavir GGB also noted that the Metsamor base station moved to a new office building at the beginning of this year, where all the conditions for the organization of the work, rest and living of the staff have been created.
