Spring tree planting in Hrazdan-5 power unit area

April 9, 2024 13:21Employees of Hrazdan-5 Enterprise of Gazprom Armenia have organized an environmental protection campaign of tree planting in Hrazdan-5 station area. Within the framework of this campaign, the employees have planted about 200 fruit and ornamental trees.

Taking into account the natural-climatic conditions of the Hrazdan region where the station is located, seedlings of some types of apple, pear, plum and cherry were chosen for tree planting. Silver poplars were also planted in the station area.

According to the Acting Director of Hrazdan-5 Enterprise Ruben Vardanyan, these types of trees grow well in cold winter and cool summer conditions.

«The idea of greening and landscaping the territory of the power unit was accepted with great enthusiasm by our employees. Trees will not only beautify and enliven the area around the station, but will also benefit from an environmental point of view. We hope that all the seedlings will take root and grow well, and we will get the first harvest from the fruit trees in the coming years,» noted Ruben Vardanyan.
