1,300 families displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh received one-time financial assistance
As a company with social responsibility, CJSC Gazprom Armenia initiated a program to support compatriots displaced from Nagorno- Karabakh, which was implemented in two stages.The Company allocated a one-time financial assistance of 100,000 AMD for each family to 1,300 families from Artsakh who applied for support.
The Financial Assistance Fund was formed from voluntary donations of the Company’s employees, as well as funds provided by the Trade Union Organization of Gazprom Armenia Employees.
Within the frame of the first stage of the program aimed at supporting people displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, 600 families received compensation for the cost of rent and utilities.
Compensation is provided for a period of 6 months — primarily to large families and with many children.
At the same time, Gazprom Armenia organized the restoration and operation of the Karin Rest House infrastructure in a short period, which is on the Company’s balance sheet, in order to provide additional 45 displaced families with accommodation and necessary living conditions.
