Photo report: installation of a new valve unit on the Gyumri-Maralik gas transmission pipeline in the Shirak region of Armenia
Within the framework of Gazprom Armenia production programs for 2023, large-scale work continues at the facilities of the gas transmission and gas distribution systems.Major repair works of 1000mm diameter Ghazakh-Yerevan and 700mm diameter Goris-Nakhijevan main gas transmission pipelines have been completely finished.
In total, about 17.1 km of main gas transmission pipeline has been repaired.
According to the planned schedule, work on the restoration and major repair of the gas distribution network goes on. The total length of medium and low-pressure gas pipelines to be repaired is about 95 km, 110 gas regulation units will also be replaced.
Within the framework of the production programs of the current year, the specialists of Transgaz LLC (the subsidiary of CJSC Gazprom Armenia), carried out the disassembly of the valve on the Gyumri-Maralik main gas transmission pipeline with 500mm diameter and the installation of a new valve unit.
