Yerevan GGB team became the winner of the intra-corporate futsal tournament for the Gazprom Armenia Cup
An intra-corporate futsal tournament for the CJSC Gazprom Armenia Cup took place, in which the football teams of the Company's staff, Transgaz LLC, Yerevan Gasification and Gas Supply Branch (GGB), as well as the team of the other 14 Gasification and Gas Supply Branches took part.
The tournament was held in two stages: in the qualifying round, the teams of the Company’s staff and Transgaz LLC played for the right to reach the final, and the team of the Yerevan GGB met with the team of the Gasification and Gas Supply Branches.
Despite the fact that colleagues were playing against each other on the field, the tournament was held in a friendly competitive atmosphere and all teams showed a really interesting and spectacular game.
In the final game for the title of the champion, the teams of Gazprom Armenia and Yerevan GGB met. The football team of the Yerevan GGB, defeating their colleagues from the staff, became the holder of the cup.
The main time of the match ended with a score of 2:2, but the team of Yerevan GGB took the lead with the results of the post-match penalty shootouts. The total score of the final match: 4:3.
Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia Ashot Hakobyan presented the cup to the winners.
