Preparation of the gas supply system of the country for the autumn-winter period of 2021/2022 completed.
Within the frame of the comprehensive preparation for the autumn-winter period of 2021/2022 comprehensive, planned, preventive maintenance and repair works were carried out at the facilities of the gas transportation system of CJSC Gazprom Armenia.
In particular, the anti-corrosion insulation coating of gas transmission pipeline sections with a total length of 60 km was replaced, as well as major repairs of linear valve units were carried out with the replacement of shut-off valves.
Within the frame of the preparation of gas distribution stations (GDS) major repair work of 3 GDS was carried out, namely GDS Yerevan-2, GDS Yerevan-4, GDS Gyumri-1.
Complex diagnostic examination of 340 km of main gas transmission pipelines, as well as 8 GDS was carried out.
Major repair work of the operated compressor shop and technological units of the industrial site was carried out at the Abovyan underground gas storage station (UGSS), including completion of the current repair and adjustment of 5 gas-motor compressors and major repairs of hot-cycle air cooling equipment (ACE), technological strapping of the workshop, gas ACE, gas purification unit and hot-cycle water pumping station.
Geophysical surveys of gas wells were carried out at the underground gas storage, suspended columns and Christmas trees were replaced at 3 production wells, leakproofness test was carried out, and in 2022 it is planned to initially fill underground reservoirs with gas with subsequent commissioning.
Within the frame of the comprehensive preparation for the autumn-winter period of 2021/2022 an instrumental examination of gas pipelines with a total length of about 940 km and maintenance and current repairs of more than 10,000 gas regulation units were carried out at the facilities of the gas distribution system of Gazprom Armenia.
Repair work of about 32 km of gas distribution network was completed.
