In 2020 CJSC Gazprom Armenia imported about 2,411.7 million cubic meters of natural gas

In January-December 2020 the volume of imported natural gas was increased by 3.1% compared to the same period of the last year and made 2,411.7 million cubic meters (against 2,339.2 cubic meters of the previous year).

During the reporting period 2,262 million cubic meters of natural gas were sold, which is 2.7% more than in the same period of the last year — 2,202.4 cubic meters.

In the gas consumption structure for the twelve months of 2020 the volumes of natural gas consumption were increased by 28.4% in the industrial sector and by 16.6% in the energy sector, making 239.3 and 583.2 million cubic meters respectively, compared to the same period of the last year. The volume of natural gas consumption by the population was increased by 8.4%, making 724.6 million cubic meters.

During the stated period the volumes of natural gas consumption by CNG refueling stations were decreased by 18.1% and by 10.3% by other consumers, making 472.8 and 242.2 million cubic meters respectively.
