A number of employees of CJSC Gazprom Armenia and Transgaz Ltd. awarded with letters of gratitude by the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director
A number of employees of CJSC Gazprom Armenia and Transgaz Ltd. were awarded with letters of gratitude by the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director of CJSC Gazprom Armenia for a high level and promptly implementation of repair and restoration work on the Red Bridge-Sevkar-Berd main gas transmission pipeline with 1020 mm diameter, ensuring natural gas supply to the Republic of Armenia.
In order to prevent the development of a negative situation and possible force majeure circumstances on the North Caucasus — Transcaucasia gas transmission pipeline in winter, as well as to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to consumers — necessary preparatory work was carried out in difficult conditions and short period of time. The blocked section of the Red Bridge-Sevkar-Berd gas transmission pipeline was determined with maximum accuracy, which was dismantled and replaced with a new one.
More than 30 employees of CJSC Gazprom Armenia and Transgaz Ltd. were involved in large-scale preparatory and restoration works, including welders, locksmiths, technical specialists and auxiliary support personnel. Control and coordination of the work was carried out on-line by the relevant subdivisions of CJSC Gazprom Armenia and Transgaz Ltd.
Due to the high level of professionalism and well-coordinated actions the work was completed ahead of schedule, as a result of which the supply of natural gas to Armenia was restored in required volume.
The letters of gratitude were handed to the employees of the companies by the Deputy General Director-Chief Engineer of CJSC Gazprom Armenia Ashot Hakobyan.
Congratulating the awardees, A. Hakobyan stated that the repair and restoration work was carried out promptly and at a high level, the large-scale preparatory measures preceding them were organized in a short period of time and the specialists who performed that work in difficult conditions deserve high professional assessment.
