An extended meeting took place at CJSC Gazprom Armenia chaired by the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director Hrant Tadevosyan, which was attended by the Directors of the Company's subsidiaries and Gas supply and gasification branches, Enterprises Hrazdan-5 and Educational-sport complex, Heads of structural subdivisions.
Summing up the results of the 11 months of 2020, the Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director Hrant Tadevosyan stated that although the year was unprecedentedly difficult, nevertheless the Company has managed to overcome the difficulties and solve all those issues that were set before the Company by the programs intended for 2020.
Positive production and economic indicators have been recorded as a result of coordinated work, which provides grounds to outline the main guidelines of the activity for the coming 5 years.
The Chairman of the Management Committee — General Director gave importance to complex measures taken to reduce gas losses in the gas transmission system, stating that the reduced losses made 27 million cubic meters in gas transmission system and 4 million cubic meters in distribution system.
H. Tadevosyan also mentioned that the investment plan of the Company for 2021–2025 was approved at the meeting of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia on December 23, which provides for large-scale work in the gas economy. In addition, an investment of 500 million USD is planned in 2021–2030 within the framework of the General scheme of gas supply and gasification of the Republic of Armenia.
The Director paid special attention to the ongoing work to modernize the system, as well as to improve the quality of rendered service and maintenance, emphasizing that as a result of the existing communication with consumers one can notice confidence towards the company, which should be capitalized to build a new quality relationship in the consumer-supplier chain.
Reference was also made to the preparation for the operation of the gas supply system facilities in the autumn-winter period of 2020–2021, to the plan of actions and the implemented work.
During the meeting the Deputy General Directors of CJSC Gazprom Armenia for Commerce, Capital Construction, Technical and Financial issues presented summary information on the implemented work.
A brief report was also presented on the activity of the Educational-sport complex enterprise.
